Darius Rucker news

Darius Rucker has got a bona fide country hit on his hands with "Don't Think I Don't Think About It," the debut single from his upcoming Learn To Live album. The Hootie & The Blowfish lead singer co-wrote the song with Clay Mills, but as Darius told Y108, they wanted to take the idea of a lost love in another direction. "He had the title when we started, and we decided to write about that one that got away, but we didn't want it to be that same old whining -- you know, 'I love you. Please come back!' Everybody has somebody who's not so much that they are in love with or want to be with. It's just that every now and then you think, 'Man, I wonder how they're doing,' and we wanted the song to be that way to relate to everybody." Rucker's Learn To Live album will be released on September 16th. |
