He calls 2005 and 2006 very dark days after his quick marriage and divorce to actress Renee Zellwegger. He now feels he has his edge back which is an improved from a few years back when he says, “I was in such a personal funk after the Renée thing that I could have played a stadium concert every day of the week and wouldn't have felt much joy from it.”
