Jimmy Wayne is basking in the success of his current single, "Do You Believe Me Now," which has climbed into the Top Five on the Billboard country singles chart. It's been five years since Wayne released new music. His self-titled debut album produced the hit "Stay Gone," but after his then label folded, Wayne had doubts about getting a second chance. Now that he's climbed back up to the top, Wayne told us his only goal at this point is to make himself proud, something he has accomplished with his upcoming album, Do You Believe Me Now. "My only competition is me. I don't care what other people are doing. I've never been a sore loser. If I lose, if I don't get an award, I don't care. I mean, I do care, but it doesn't bother me at all if I don't. I'm like, 'I know what I've got. I know what I have to offer. I know who I am.' The public may see it different or some may see it different. It doesn't mean I'm not good at what I do. I just keep going forward. I don't pay any attention to that stuff." Do You Believe Me Now will be released on August 26th.
