Shania Twain & Mutt separating!

CMT.com is reporting that Shania Twain and Mutt Lange are separating after more than 14 years of marriage. The couple married in December of 1993 and together produced all of Shania’s million-selling albums and all of her charted singles between 1995 and 2005. Those hits included “Any Man Of Mine”; “No One Needs To Know”; “You Win My Love”; “Man, I Feel Like A Woman”; “Come On Over”; and “You’re Still The One.” Shania and Lange met at Fan Fair the summer before they were married. Lange had called her label – Mercury Nashville – for her phone number after hearing her debut CD. With Lange as her producer, Shania sold 46 million albums, including 20-million copies of her 1997 album Come On Over. Her CD’s The Woman In Me and Up have each sold more than 10 million copies. The couple has a son, Aja, and have maintained homes in California, Canada, Switzerland and New Zealand during their marriage. Lange has a background as a rock producer with band like AC/DC, Def Leppard and Foreigner. He’s also produced for The Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion and The Corrs. |
