This week's Soldier Salute: Sgt. Paul Statzer While on patrol in Iraq, Sgt. Paul Statzer's unit stopped to investigate a bomb crater. A second bomb hidden inside the crater exploded, severly injuring Sgt. Statzer. It's a miracle he survived the blast. Paul spent 2 years recovering at Walter Reed Hospital. Now, Sgt.
